Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings' connection with Tibet Snowfield was established in 2006. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings has dispatched teams to carry out field research on aiding Tibet successively in several times since 2010, and then formulated aiding Tibet policies such as "having high level of political consciousness, accounting general ledger of economy and establishing the image of corporate responsibility". Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings already accomplished industrial and commercial registration of joint ventures for aiding Tibet, quickly launched the GPA planting base of salvia miltiorrhiza and ganoderma, then completed the research and trial production of Tibetan Ganoderma Lucidum Spores Oil and other characteristic new products, and also systematically developed the project of featured under-forest resource trade for aiding Tibet and many other projects.

Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings' achievements in aiding Tibet were remembered by Zhu Xiaodan, then Guangdong Governor. In October 2013, Governor Zhu Xiaodan led a delegation to investigate aiding projects in Lyinchi, and especially paid attention to the progress of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings' work. On 21 March 2105, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Tibetan Health Castle Project formally started construction in the presence of Governor Zhu Xiaodan, and was the first project which went to operation after the directly flight from Guangzhou to Lyingchi started working. Since the project broke ground, members of the project had worked hard day and night for one year, and then showed the whole picture of Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Tibetan Health Castle on 1 October 2016.
