Founded in 1988, Po Lian Development Company Limited (Po Lian) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GPHL. GPHL currently holds interests in two companies listed in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Po Lian is located in Hong Kong and supported by GPHL, thus benefiting from Hong Kong’s role as a international financial and trade center.

Po Lian is responsible for purchasing all imported products on behalf of GPHL (including medicine, raw materials, equipment and other medical products) and driving international business for GPHL products (prescription drugs, OTC, laboratory animals and other medical products). It serves as an agent for world-renown pharmaceutical products; and it helps GPHL attract partners and investors whilst also helping foreign pharmaceutical companies expand their business into the Chinese market through cooperation with GPHL.
