visit website >>Baiyunshan He Ji Gong Pharmaceutical Factory of Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Co. Ltd (He Ji Gong), a member of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, was the first company gaining the title of China Time-honored Brand appointed by the PRC’s Ministry of Commerce. He Ji Gong has established a team of more than 800 employees. 24% of the staff hold professional qualifications, among whom there are 20 licensed pharmacists and 48 technicians with senior and medium-level professional titles.
The company currently has 15 GMP approved dosage forms including adhesive plasters, powders, eye ointments, granules, eye-drops, capsules, suppositories, solutions, spray, nose drops, ointments, cream, liniments and patch with more than 260 listed products approved by the China Food and Drug Administration. Housed in a modern complex with an area of 40 thousand square meters, He Ji Gong is the largest pharmaceutical factory nationwide producing antipyretic analgesic and drugs for external use.
During the reign of the Guangxu Emperor in the late Qing Dynasty, Xu Ningyuan Drugstore began producing Qing Liang You (to ‘refresh the mind’). Lu Shuntian set up Xinmin Medical Dressing Factory in the 12th year of the Republic of China. Without a doubt, established a new era in the production of sanitary and hygienic wares in Guangdong and even the south of China. When the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression broke out, He Fuqing established He Ji Gong Pharmaceutical Store in the spirit of resistance. After 70 years of constant development, it has become a pharmaceutical factory specializing in antipyretic analgesic and drugs for external use.
Out of the admiration for Ji Gong, He Fuqing, the founder of He Ji Gong Pharmaceutical Store, named the store He Ji Gong. He followed Ji Gong’s example of helping the masses and combining medicine with charity. At the same time, since He Ji Gong sounds like Huo Ji Gong (a real Ji Gong), a legend went around that there was a real Ji Gong in Guangdong in the Yangtze River region, a rumor which swept through the surrounding areas.
