On October 26, the Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL) visited the Baqiong Village in Tibet's Nyingchi. Its subsidiary corporation, Tibet Nyingchi GPHL Development Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Village with the goal of common prosperity.

According to the agreement, GPHL will give full play to its advantages in capital, industry, talent, channels, information accessibility and management to provide strong impetus to the rural revitalization of the Baqiong Village.

During its visit, GPHL also donated a batch of Wanglaoji herbal tea and Ciningji drinks, the product based on roxburgh rose, to the Village.

GPHL has always placed a high value on assisting the development of Tibet. In 2011, Li Chuyuan, the then general manager of the Group, led an expedition team to Nyingchi to work out a better way to assist Tibet. Eventually, the Group decided to focus on the plantation and cultivation of ganoderma lucidum. It carried out a standardization cultivation of Tibetan genoderma lucidum in Bomi Village, providing a large number of jobs for the locals.

To push forward the tourism of Tibet, GPHL also established a Baiyunshan Tibetan-style Health Center in Nyingchi to promote traditional Tibetan culture as well as Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine culture to tourists around the world.

On the afternoon of October 25, GPHL also held the Third Tibetan Youth Football Tournament in Nyingchi No.1 Middle School, providing professional soccer training for Tibetan youth so that they can learn more about this sport.
