On October 18th, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Runkang Postpartum Care Club Co., Ltd., jointly established by GPHL and the Nanfang Hospital, opened for business. This marked the opening of GPHL's first postpartum care centre and a breakthrough in the Group's Great Medical Care segment.

As GPHL's first postpartum care centre, Runkang Postpartum Care Club ("Care Club"), with the joint forces of GPHL and the Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University (one of China's top 100 hospitals), offers gynaecological, postpartum care, newborn care, psychological, nutrition, and health care services. Along with the enrolment of experts from the 157th Medical Group and the inception of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hospital, the Group has been able to offer women’s services ranging from parturition to postpartum care for moms and newborns.

The Care Club, located at the foot of the Baiyun Mountain, upholds the principles of "safe, green, professional and attentive" to provide newborns and postpartum women with personal, systematic, specialized, and quality care services with the expertise of the Nanfang Hospital, teams from the 157th Medical Group, and Baiyunshan Hospital.

"The opening of the club is a good start to the implementation of the Group's strategy and plan for the health service businesses in the Great Medical Care segment, injecting new blood into the diversified development in this segment. The club will continuously improve its services and management to set higher standards for the industry," GPHL general manager Yang Jun said.

Over these years, driven by four segments including "Great Southern Traditional Chinese Medicine", "Great Health", "Great Commerce", and "Great Medical Care", GPHL continues its high-quality growth. The "Great Health Care" segment has been supported by different platforms, such as the Baiyunshan Hospital, Tibet Linzhi Baiyunshan Tibetan-style Health Castle, Shennong Caotang Museum. The opening of the Care Club will generate new impetus for the "Great Medical Care" segment.

Previously, Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hospital affiliated with GPHL further enhanced its comprehensive strength by enrolling experts specialized in gynaecology and obstetrics, general surgery, internal medicine, rehabilitation, etc. from the 157th Medical Group.

Now, GPHL is consolidating the medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare resources in Tonghe, Guangzhou to establish the Tonghe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Centre.

During the outbreak of COIVD-19 in 2020, GPHL established Baiyunshan Yihu Health and Technology and Baiyunshan Jianhu Medical Products to produce protection and clean clothing. In addition, Baiyunshan Yihu entered into a collaboration agreement with the White Swan Hotel to jointly develop an AI and smart mattress to optimize healthy sleep.
