1828 Wanglaoji launches 22 new outlets nationwide

On September 30th, one 1828 Wanglaoji outlet was opened in Canton Tower, the landmark of Guangzhou. Recently a total of 22 new outlets have been launched in Chinese Mainland cities such as Zhuhai, Huai’an, Yiwu and Dongguan.
“The new outlet in Canton Tower was opened at 18:28, commemorating the year of 1828 when Wanglaoji was first established,” GPHL chairman Li Chuyuan said in an interview.
With more than 190 years of legacy and innovation, Wanglaoji now offers new herbal teas and drinks. Unlike conventional herbal teas, these premium drinks feature health and fashion. The fusion of classical herbal teas with herbal ingredients not only creates tasty drinks but also meets young consumers’ demand for low calorie and low fat.

In addition to milk tea, 1828 Wanglaoji serves customers with fruit teas, classical herbal teasand other popular drinks. The R&D team has improved the ingredients, taste and appearance, offering more healthy choices to young consumers.

Zhang Yongtao, chairman of Guangzhou Wanglaoji Investment Co., Ltd., said that the 1828 Wanglaoji team spent more time on building supply chain, systems and teams over these years. 1828 Wanglaoji will launch 500 or even 1,000 outlets in the future as their business model becomes well positioned towards that goal. For new franchisees, the brand offers standard and systematic training for standard operational procedures, standardised taste control and marketing, so as to maintain the high quality of new outlets.
